Happy Wednesday, everyone! Sorry I’ve been kind of MIA on the posting front lately. Life has been busy, busy, busy, albeit in quite a boring, non-bloggable way. I like doing fashion posts- they’re easy!
Skirt- J.Crew; Tshirt- Le Petit Bateau; Cardigan- Express; Flats- Steve Madden; Nails- Essie Ballet Slipper. This was last Wednesday, when it got up to 63 degrees! I take any excuse to have bare legs. Though please excuse my wet hair. I can’t be bothered to dry it if it’s not going to freeze to my head.
Dress- Madewell; Sweater- J.Crew; Belt- H&M; Flats- Steve Madden. Another warm-weather outfit. This was actually the same dress I wore on my birthday- I love how it’s so easy to dress up or down.
Jeans- Seven for All Mankind; Sweater- J.Crew Men’s; Shoes- Sperry Topsider; Jacket- Barbour. A rainy, casual Friday. I thought the outfit was cuter with the coat- it made me feel Kate Middleton-esque.
Jeans- Seven for All Mankind; Top- J.Crew; Cardigan- J.Crew; Flats- Tory Burch; Nails- Essie Luxedo. For shopping/drinks with my friend Lauren. I think I picked out my bridesmaid dress for her wedding, too!
Skirt- H&M; Top- J.Crew; Belt- H&M; Boots- J.Crew. When I went shopping this weekend I picked up a few new work-appropriate pieces at H&M. Laur told me I have “nautical” taste, and I never thought about it that way, but she’s right!
Pants- H&M; Shirt- Madewell; Flats- J.Crew; (very weirdly placed) Headband- J.Crew. These are my favorite flats EVER and it kills me that they’re falling apart. I’ve had them since my senior year of high school, so for suede ballet flats they’ve had a great run, but I keep looking for a replacement pair and nothing compares.
Speaking of Kate Middleton, who are your style inspirations/icons? I love Kate, Grace Kelly and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. All three had/have incredible, unique style, but always look classic and ladylike. Several older people (like my grandmother and random moms in department stores) have told me I look like Carolyn, which creeps me out a little bit.
Don’t you just love when life is busy in an incredible boring kind of way! HA! I totally know what you are talking about! …..You do have an amazing style! I just try to be as classic as possible.
which style barbour jacket is that? i lost a barbour jacket i’ve had for forever and am on the look out for a different one — yours is so cute!
It’s an older wax one! I don’t know that they make the exact style anymore but I know it’s classified as “lightweight” too…plaid lining. Hope that helps!
the nautical look is my GO TO look this season! i’m buying a pair of tan and gold tory burch flats just so i can pursue it hahaha. my go-to style people are jennifer anniston and cam diaz and kate middleton for sure! simple and classic
LOOOVE TB flats
Love the outfits! I can’t wait for spring so nautical style can be worn every day
ps I ADORE Kate Middleton. You definitely are reminiscent of her style!
Classically beautiful, Gabriella! I have always said that about you and your wardrobe and love all of your looks!
You make the cutest darn outfits!! My style icons are Kate Middleton, Blair Waldorf and Jackie O.
I love classic Audrey Hepburn style, but if I were to go contemporary, I would say Blake Lively and Camilla Belle…I love causal, elegant, yet effortless style, like lace tops and blue-jean jackets, minimal makeup for that natural look!
I love Blake Lively, though I feel like I could never pull off 90% of the stuff she wears!
ahh that nautical outfit is the cutest thing I’ve EVER seen! You look amazing!
Stripes are definitely everywhere this season and I already have so many…
I’ve never really thought about who my style-icons are….maybe I should. I like lots of different things so I get inspiration from magazines haha.
I love your outfits! And I agree that Kate Middleton is a great style icon. She’s beautiful and wears what’s appropriate and feminine.
which style barbour jacket is that? i lost a barbour jacket i’ve had for forever and am on the look out for a different one — yours is so cute!
Love the casual Friday look, it looks quite put-together thanks to the coat (aren’t Barbour coats amazing?). All of your outfits are lovely, though!
I don’t really know who my style icon is, for a while it was Victoria Beckham, but now I’d say it is half-Olivia Palermo (love her classic sophistication) and half-Man Repeller (the blog, love how daring she is). Clearly it’s a bit confused!
I think Olivia is gorgeous too, though after watching The City I don’t like her as much haha. Her clothes are freaking amazing though.
Loving your Wednesday fashion posts! Love the coral skirt
Oh my goodness, you are incredible cute and put together every.single.day. Love!
As always, I love your outfits!
I’m a big fan of the nautical look too!
My style icons are Diane Kruger, Rachel Bilson, and Zooey Deschanel.
I love your Wednesday outfit posts, and I agree-dressing for work can be difficult at times. I love love love that madewell dress. I’ve been wanting it since I first saw it in that store! Not that unusual, as I want everything in that store. I should probably stop going in, it’s not helping.
Is it still there?! I got this on sale in December!
I absolutely ADORE Kate Middleton’s style!Annnd I want your closet!
i like your preppy style. it really suits you well
68 degrees? Seriously? It’s sleeting and freezing in Boston right now. Sigh.
Cute outfits! Gives me some ideas for sprucing up my internship wardrobe (I’m also a PR intern!).
I absolutely love your outfits this week!
