Bienvenue a Une Vie Saine!
I’m Gabriela, the girl behind this vie saine- this healthy life. I’m a recent graduate of NYU (where I majored in French, hence the title) who recently moved back to the Philadelphia suburbs.
I started Une Vie Saine as a daily food and exercise journal, but over time it transformed into a compilation of recipes, restaurant reviews and life. My personality waffle between serious and silly, so don’t be surprised if I write like a journalist in one post and a thirteen-year-old in the next.
I stopped publishing new posts on UVS in April 2012 due mainly to privacy concerns and the desire to explore other hobbies, but the site will stay up with restaurant reviews, recipes and favorite posts for future reference!
I love:
Good food, craft beer, old friends, the color pink, doggies, books in print, sweating every day, frosting, chocolate, the Titanic, warm weather, baking, sundresses and nostalgia.

Hi Gabriela!
Nice to meet you! I am a fitness enthusiast and am always happy to find new people who appreciate good food and like exercise!
Good luck in NY and always be happy!
You are exactly what I aspire to be and do soon. I recently moved to NYC, I love working out, Obsessed with cooking and baking, I’m getting my degree and then plan on going to the Natural Gourmet Institute- love it!
You are a great source of knowledge at this point in my life, so thank you!
Charlie
Yay for another craft brew lover!
I stumbled upon your website today, quite inspiring! Really enjoy browsing your adventure.
It is nice to read about someone else trying different ways of eating, then coming back to omnivore lifestyle. I have also dabbled in vegetarianism and veganism. Recently I decided to also mindfully eliminate all labels from my diet. This has given me a freedom to enjoy many different foods. It has been a welcomed change.
I look forward to connecting on twitter and following the journey!
Shine on!
