Good morning, friends! When I asked what kind of things you all wanted to see more of last week, a bunch of you requested more outfit posts. I’m flattered but kind of mystified, since while I like my style, I don’t think it’s particularly exceptional! Nevertheless, here goes…
Jeans- Abercrombie & Fitch; Fleece sweater- J.Crew; Flats- Tory Burch; Necklace- Forever 21; Bangles- Kate Spade; Earrings- gift; Nail polish- Essie Candy Apple Mint.
The fleece sweater and necklace are my two favorite things I’ve bought recently- the sweater was only $23 with multiple discounts, and it’s soooo soft and warm and cozy. And the necklace was about $7 at Forever 21. Can’t beat that.

Lots of people have asked me if the Hunter boots are worth the splurge, and I love mine. I’m guilty of wearing them when the sky is perfectly clear, and they’re warm, classic, durable and comfortable. I wish I’d gotten the classic Hunter green, but I went with navy because I wear so much of it- in case you can’t tell!

Please excuse my half-asleep face. I’m always torn on scarves- I love that they’re warm and make things look more pulled together with a burst of color, but every time I wear one I get food all over it. Messy eater.
What color is a staple in your wardrobe? I love navy because it’s classic and versatile but a little less harsh than black…though I do wear a good bit of that, too. I also love really bright colors like coral, aqua and kelly green.
Love it! I like your posts when you’re talking about daily life. I miss those! I know it’s hard right now because you’re home, but still!
I have a lot of grey, black and browns. Sort of boring but they all seem to go together, which I like.
I’ve been trying to think of how I can write more about my life right now, but I’m bored LIVING it so I don’t know how it could be interesting to people haha! Any suggestions?
i sometimes write posts that are totally random like “Random facts you don’t know about me”, foods im craving, places i want to go and why, anything where we can learn something about you as a person is interesting to us..or me at least!
You are looking *so* darn cute! Love each outfit! …..Black and red are all over in my closet. Then again- I’m a teacher and the husband is the football coach. Red + Black are the school colors so I have to wear them AT LEAST once a week, usually two or three times. Good thing I like the colors!
Red is one color I rarely wear, and I don’t know why! Though I have a pair of bright red flats that I LOVE…
Love the striped sweater and necklace! I have been looking at that sweater online, but not sure what size to get. Wish it wasn’t final sale!

I think it runs pretty true to size- it’s a small, which is what I am in most stores, and it fits perfectly. If you’re between two sizes I’d get the bigger one though, because it’s meant to be a little loose so no one will notice if it’s a little roomy! Definitely get it though, I cannot get over how soft the fleece lining is.
I mostly wear grey, black, white, browns. I’m kind of boring in that way. I like coral on me too though, I need some more shirts that are bright!

I wear a lot of lululemon - haha - and I tend to wear black in the basics like wunder unders and jackets, then tanks in pops of bright color. I do the same thing with “real” clothes - basics then pops of color. Some of my favorite tops to wear with jeans (and dresses) are bright colors.
I wear lots of yoga clothes too. And I don’t even do yoga. Poseur

I’m with you on the navy. Because I have dark hair and I’m winter pale, I feel like elvira in black right now! I also love pops of color in turquoise, coral, kelly green, and mustard yellow. For the summer, my favorite color to wear is white!
I love white in the summer too. I have four pairs of white shorts that I wear pretty much every day- they’re like my warm-weather jeans.
Loving your outfit posts! Black, dark purple, and navy are my colors. I guess dark colors look best on me. I like jewel tones and neutrals.
You look wonderful in all your looks and outfits. Color in my wardrobe that’s a staple? Blacks I guess..balanced with lots of bright color pops from pinks and purples and some white throw in.
I wear a lot of black and grey actually. I’ve just noticed this over the past few months. I’m okay with it!
Black and grey are my staples. I work in an office and am required to dress business casual so having lots of blacks and greys ensure I never run out of outfit options.

I tend to wear a lot of black, which is probably boring…. But alway in style! I’ve been trying to incorporate more color in with cardigans (which im a big fan of).

Those are the skinny ones! I also have the straight, boot cut and flares…I always try other brands but end up going back to A&F, though I hate the stores in general!

I just got them actually! I haven’t worn them much yet because it’s been wet and cold out, but I’ve tried them on with a bunch of stuff and I think I’ll wear them more than the black & gold once it gets warm!

Those brown Steve Madden flats are so cute! I’m currently in the process of packing for a 4 month internship, so I’ve got clothes and colors on the brain. The majority of my clothes tend to center around navy, black, and stripes. I have SO many striped pieces. My mom used to swear that if a store had something that was striped (especially navy and cream), I’d find it and get it.

I think you got a lot of requests for outfit posts because you have that perfect combo of a few really nice pieces like your Tory flats or Hunter boots, but then you also know how to recycle old things in a new way and you also always wear really cute accessories!! Those flats have been on my wishlist forever… think I need to splurge!
