Romance and Violence

Good morning! Let's dig into breakfast, shall we?

This morning, I had a bowl of cookie dough cereal: 1/2 c raw rolled oats, mixed with a spoonful of almond butter and a scoop of vanilla Sun Warrior protein powder. I added a little water to mix it up into a paste, then added a sliced banana and almond milk.

One of the easiest, most delicious breakfasts out there. It seems to be a blog-world craze, and with good reason!

While eating breakfast, catching up on emails and Google reading, I've been watching Remember Me, with Robert Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin- aka Edward Cullen and the girl from Lost. It's a totally sappy chick flick, but with a huge surprise ending that always makes me bawl my eyes out. I'm not a Rob Pattinson fan, but his character in this movie makes me swoon!

It's funny, because all of my favorite movies fall into two polar opposite categories: either tragic romances, or violent action flicks. On one side, we've got Titanic, Moulin Rouge, Romeo & Juliet and Atonement. On he other, we've got The Departed, The Boondock Saints, and The Patriot. My least favorite movies are without a doubt psychological thrillers or horror films: Antichrist still haunts me after a few years, and I never quite got over seeing The Shining in third grade (under my older brother's watch).

Though I don't have classes today, I have a meeting this afternoon and an awards ceremony this evening. Only four days until I'm done! Hope you have a wonderful day :)

What are your favorite movie genres? Least favorite?
