(Kinda) Post-Grad Plans

Good evening everyone! I'm in kind of a giddy good mood right now, so I apologize if this post is obnoxiously bubbly. Maybe all this spring weather is just going straight to my head? Even if Mother Nature did decide to turn a cold shoulder at NYC this evening!

Guess what was on the dinner agenda for this evening?

Pita pockets!! My class tomorrow morning is cancelled, meaning I'll be eating at home instead of on campus. Obviously, I can't go a week without these things, so pita pocket Wednesday turned into pita pocket Tuesday.

I had my usual two "Power-Fu" sandwiches with a side of lightly cooked carrot sticks. I've been nuking my carrots for about a minute in the microwave before eating them, and I find it really brings out their natural sweetness.

For "dessert," I enjoyed a cup of pineapple chunks and two big unpictured spoonfuls of peanut butter right before I bolted out the door.

My meal was consumed in a hurry, because afterwards I was due uptown for a meeting about my post-college plans. Lately I've been receiving several questions about what I'll be doing once I graduate next month, and while I hate to be all secretive, I want to wait until things are definite before announcing them here! (Several blends probably know what I'm talking about...shhh!) I'm not going straight into a job, but I will most likely be staying in NYC. In all honesty, I've liked being a French major and do really enjoy the language and culture, but it's not really a field I see myself in. Hopefully, this next step will lead me towards a career in something I'm truly passionate about. My fingers are crossed that everything words out, and I'll absolutely fill you all in as soon as things are set in stone, okay? :)

I think I'm meeting up with a few friends this evening. First it was skipping class, now it's going out on a school night...what a rebel! I'll chalk it up to senioritis. Have a good night, everyone!

What was/is/will be your college major? Did you end up making a career out of it, or did you choose a different path?
