Time for another what I ate Wednesday!

(You’ll notice that my food is not at all exciting. Making fun meals has kind of fallen by the wayside lately.)

Breakfast:

The Fitnessista’s “cookie dough cereal:” 1/2 cup oats mixed with a scoop of chocolate whey protein powder, a spoonful of Skippy Natural, a splash of water and some honey, topped with a sliced banana and unsweetened Silk soy milk. Blurry picture- apparently it was too early to focus.

Lunch:

Container of pre-packaged seitan “veggie turkey,” a Gala apple and a coconut cream pie Larabar. I didn’t pack much because I knew we’d be cooking and tasting all day, and I was right- over the course of the day, I had small portions of all the salads we made, as well as all the garnished fruits and veggies I cut and a bunch of homemade potato chips.

Dinner:

For dinner, I met my friend Jillian at Cosi, where I ordered a “turkey light” on white bread: turkey, tomatoes and spicy honey mustard with a side of baby carrots. When I got home, I also had a plain Greek yogurt with honey and a serving of Lindt Chili dark chocolate, which I forgot to photograph until after I ate them!

In addition, I had a bedtime snack of cucumber and hummus and some Kashi GoLean straight from the box…also unpictured. Amazing how quickly I got out of the habit of photographing most of the things I eat…
