Finally.

The passport is in my possession. When they called me up to the window to pick it up, I actually spilled the contents of my purse all over the floor in my mad rush. But it's mine!

My long day started at 6:30, when I left to drive into center city. I got to my 8 AM appointment at 7:30, expecting to be the first person in line, but there were already six people waiting outside the state building! Eventually, I made it through the line and talked to a passport agent, who told me that my passport would be ready around 12:30. This was at 8:30. Alrighty.

Since driving home and back would have been a huge waste of time and gas, I decided to just walk around the city for a few hours. Despite living right outside of Philadelphia my whole life, I've never just walked around by myself without an agenda! It's so different from New York, but in a good way- I love how historic certain parts of it feel.

I bought an iced coffee at a little cafe called Lore's....

Then made my way over to the Whole Foods on South Street, where I purchased a few bars, individual servings of Vega, a box of individual oatmeal packets and a few almond butter squeeze packs to take with me to England next week. We're renting an apartment with a kitchen, so I wanted some breakfast staples on hand.

Afterwards, I meandered over to the Lululemon store near Rittenhouse Square, where I finally took the plunge on a pair of wunder under crop leggings. My two pairs of Target-purchased Champion leggings are already wearing through after just four months of use, so hopefully this more expensive pair will be worth the extra dough!

I still had some time to kill before 12:30, so I stopped in a little market in the hopes of finding something cheap and simple to eat. Lo and behold, guess what they had...

TOFU PITAS! And containers of just the tofu filling! I practically squealed as I purchased two of them, along with a container of pineapple chunks. Yes, two containers- I have a tofu salad addiction.

It was still only 11:30 by the time I was done eating, but I figured I'd head back to the passport building in the hopes that it would be done early. Not so much. I sat there for a solid hour before finally being called up. Finally. But you know what? It's all good now. London in four days!

Unfortunately, I got home to a MacBook on strike- neither the mousepad or the keyboard are working. The week does not like me. Hopefully I can get the issue resolved before leaving for Fitbloggin' early tomorrow...

Enjoy your afternoon- it's almost the weekend!
