So Long, San Francisco

I’m so sad to say farewell to Foodbuzz!!

It’s been a wonderful weekend of food, friends and fun in the City by the Bay.

After completing five miles on the elliptical this morning, I snacked on Frog Hollow Farms granola to hold me over until the 9:30 breakfast.

This granola is perfect, in my opinion-  the taste is complex, crunchy and not too sweet.

A bit later, I made the most of my last few hours at the Foodbuzz Festival 2010 by partaking in the Farewell Brunch, sponsored by Nature’s Pride. Luckily, I got there a few minutes early to take pictures of the untouched buffet.

There was a beautiful fruit platter.

A pear salad with arugula, frisse, toasted almonds, balsamic vinaigrette and Nature’s Pride multigrain croutons.

Seasonal panzanella salad with roasted wild musrooms, red onion and toasted 100% whole wheat Nature’s Pride bread.

Vanilla yogurt parfaits with strawberry and granola.

Nature’s Pride Country white bread and pork sausage gravy.

Applewood smoked bacon.

Roasted vegetable Spanish frittata with Nature’s Pride twelve grain bread stuffing.

And cinnamon nutty oat French toast with whipped strawberry butter, basil, and villa mandori maple syrup.

Quite a spread!

I stuck to the vegan salad options, filling my plate with fruit, pear salad and panzanella.

I kept going back to the buffet to refill my plate- much more of each was had!

Afterwards, it was time to say goodbye to all my foodie friends L

This weekend passed much too quickly!!

Now I’m off to the airport- so long, San Francisco! See you in New York!
