Bonsoir mes amis! I’m blogging instead of doing homework, because I just can’t seem to motivate myself at all tonight. It happens sometimes, but I really need to stay on top of things this week so I can have a stress-free weekend in San Francisco for Foodbuzz…argh!
This afternoon, I snacked on an iced gingerbread Clif bar, microwaved for 45 seconds.
It got all melty and warm…the texture was like a cookie straight from the oven. Heavenly.
When I returned from an afternoon of classes, I was quite cold- it’s definitely the first truly wintry day of the season! A bowl of hot soup was in order.
I had a can of Progresso tomato basil soup, as well as some steamed veggies with nutritional yeast and hot sauce and a whole-wheat tortilla.
And since then? Well, I’ve been snack-facing away at frozen green grapes (my newest obsession) x2:
Dark chocolate (x3):
Cashews (x a lot):
And a few spoonfuls of Barney Butter, as well as pickles straight from the jar. Is it just me, or is snacking one of the most distracting forms of procrastination?

First of all, I have GOT to track down those holiday-flavored Clif bars! Although, my bar intake has dropped drastically since LunaGate... :(
I'm actually pretty good when it comes to procrastinating. I was that student that got her papers done a week early in college...also known as the student that all of the other students hated HAHAHA.

I wish I could go to Foodbuzz next weekend! I am only an hour away from San Fran...but I have to work :(
i've been melting clif bars since summer of 09, haha. sooo much better. esp with smeared pb on top.

Sometimes my procrastinating actually involves being productive! Like I should be cleaning... but i'll work out instead. Or I should be finishing my book club book... but i'll cook for the week instead. hehe
It's not just you! Snacking IS one of the most distracting (and best) forms of procrastination! In fact, I am doing so at this very moment! :)
This sounds so silly but I've never thought to microwave Clif bars! My tummy thanks you. :)

I always snack when I'm procrastinating, but it also helps me focus when I'm snacking. I think I'm just obsessed with food though. haha

I'm a major snack procrastinator, too. But reading blogs is my #1 way to put off homework/housework/etc.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned perusing friend's facebook profiles as a way to procrastinate yet. How can I focus on my paper when I want to see what everyone was for Halloween? haha

Hey! So I blog-stalked you for a little bit, and we have the exact same eating habits :) I also go to NYU (I'm a freshman) so I'm stuck with the dining halls, which actually aren't all that bad here. Speaking of procrastinating...i need to get my ass to Bobst. Glad I found your blog!

I procrastinate by cleaning my apartment haha. I feel like I'm at least being a little productive that way.
I've been snacking on cashews like nobody's business lately! They're just so good.
And I procrastinate by sleeping. I know, I'm so weird.
I never thought of freezing grapes. I might have to try that ;)
