[...] We chose the pizza margherita, with olive oil, plum tomato, fresh basil and a blend of cheeses. I’d heard great things about this place, and it certainly didn’t disappoint- all the ingredients were fresh and flavorful, and the crust was pretty good as well. It’s definitely one of the better pizzas I’ve had, but it still doesn’t compare to Zero Otto Nove [...]

This discussion completely reminds me of the TGI Friday's commercial from a few years back where a group of guys are ordering:

Guy 1- "Beef!!!"
Guy 2- "Pork!!!"
Guy 3- "Vegetable Medley!!!" . . . and the others look at him in confusion.

In the 80s there was a popular book called "Real Men Don't Eat Quiche" which discusses masculine sterotypes. It seems the boys are primed to eschew much beyond meat, potatoes, and grease. I agree advertising perpetuates the stereotype.

Love your fashion posts...and the more I think about my closet, the more it's probably embarrassing because the older I get, the less new clothes I buy and just keep wearing the old stuff. I spend my money on important things now...like kitchen tools :)

I'm convinced that a good pair of loafers only get better with age. They can never be too broken in! and the only disappointing pair I've had were a $10 find from Urban. the sole fell off somewhere on Forbes...but at that price, what else did I expect?
