One of my favorite things about blogging is that it gives me an excuse to play in the kitchen for no real reason.
No one to bake for? Bake for the blog!
Want to veganizing my favorite cookies? Veganize them for the blog!
No real reason to cook a fancy dinner? Cook it for the blog!
My time in the kitchen has created some major flops (oops!), but also some pretty tasty stuff. Here are the recipes that are good enough to call my favorites!
To date, the most popular post on here. Not surprised- I love champagne, too.
Double Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies
The chocolate lover’s peanut butter cookie. Dangerously chocolatey and rich, yet totally vegan.
Okay, this isn’t really my recipe- it’s a tutorial on how to make one of my childhood favorites, soft-boiled egg with buttered toast dipping strips.
Made with stout, whiskey and Bailey’s buttercream, in cake form. What everyone should eat on their 21st birthday. Don’t be surprised by the buzz!
Chocolate Peanut Banana Chia Pudding
What a mouthful! Both literally and metaphorically. One of those “healthy” breakfasts that doesn’t taste so at all. Which reminds me that I need to make it again soon…
A chocolate-hazelnut take on the classic peanut butter pie. You’re welcome.
A favorite just because they’re so fun to make and eat! Like the vegetarian, whole-food equivalent of mini-hotdogs. They make a great dinner, appetizer or snack.
Blueberry pancakes, no flipping skills required.
Out of season at the moment, but they make a beautiful appetizer for a summer dinner party or a great salad topper for a light lunch.
Brownies, cookie dough and frosting…in every single bite. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
What are some of your all-time favorite recipes, either your own or others’?

Love this collection of your favorite recipes! I need to make the chia pudding ASAP. I featured your peanut butter blossoms in my post yesterday.
I know, I got your email- thank you so much!!
It’s almost cruel to leave those brownies for last so now they’ll be in my mind all day!
Haha ‘for the blog’…so true! I made red velvet whoopie pies yesterday for no reason but the blog!
Isn’t it a great excuse?!
FML brownies & car bomb cake are two that I totally remembered off the top of my head of yours. Glad they are here.
the cookies & slushie, forgot about them. thanks for the reminder!
All time fave recipes…my own would be any of the bars or cookies I’ve made in the past 3 mos or so. I have half a dozen bars and about 3 cookie varieties that I remake nonstop
Other ppl’s recipes…well…I can hardly follow my own recipes once. Let alone someone else’s long enough to call it an all time fave.
But FML brownies need to happen!
I think the brownies are my all-time favorite recipe I’ve posted on here
I love having a blog just so that I can look back on some of the things I’ve made- I do that sometimes when I’m feeling really uninspired with my cooking!
I love all these recipes! One of my all time favorites is the Raspberry Nutella Pie!
I really, REALLY need to try those FML brownies! This post reminded me of how awesome they looked the first time around!
OH my goodness… let me just say, I have some big plans for those FML brownies! And they involve a side of funfetti frosting
go big or go home, right? Thanks for sharing these with us!
Ohhh I feel like making them with funfetti would be even more amazing!
Ever since I saw the FML brownies on your blog I’ve been wanting to make them! I just know that I would adore them. They are right up my alley with their chocolatey gooeyness.
I have the recipe saved… maybe I’ll make them for my upcoming birthday!
Okay wow. I’ve never heard of or considered that soft boiled egg with toast dipping strips but what a grand idea. I love runny eggs and this seems like something I will just die for! Favorite recipes include my friend Michelle’s Buffalo Chicken Dip (you might have seen her blog, That’s So Michelle) made with shredded chicken — its amazing. Also love anything where you can incorporate kahlua and chocolate
Alcohol in ANY dessert is amazing!
thank you for posting this! i’d forgotten how much i wanted to try that pancake bake! i think my all time favorite recipe is one for a spinach ranch dip my mom used to make for us at every major party or holiday when i was a kid. she’d put it in a giant bread bowl and it was perfect with veggies or the bread from the inside
actualllllly i think one of your best all time recipes is quinoa pizza! or pizza quinoa! hahaha seriously genius and seriously delicious
Haha I still think of you every time I see that recipe!!
I love these! The banana chia pudding combo is definitely a favorite of mine. But, I do find it hard to gollow the same recipe more than once, unless its something like an easy breakfast recipe, or single serve protein muffin (love my own combo!) or something.
This has inspired me to make mini tempeh tacos, though! They look like delicous fun.
I will make Irish Car Bomb cake for my 21st birthday when I get home from Scotland in December! I’m turning 21 here, but I don’t think the cake would turn out the same. I want to share it with my boyfriend, too — he loves Irish Car Bombs.
Definitely trying FML brownies ASAP! Can’t wait! I just bookmarked this page. Thanks
these all look amazing. ESPECIALLY those FML brownies. OH MY WORD.
I love how you have such a variety of recipes on your blog - both healthy and unhealthy. Desserts are meant to be indulgent sometimes!
I really want to try your chocolate PB cookies!
I have wayyy too many favourite recipes from other sources, but one of my favourite recipes of mine is my honey almond coconut granola. It’s such a perfect mix of flavours!
