For breakfast this morning, I switched things up a bit by making some smoothie cereal.
In the smoothie:
- 1 c almond milk
- 2 T ground flax meal
- six strawberries on steroids
- large handful of blueberries
- two large handfuls of spinach
- scoop of chocolate Sun Warrior
After pouring the smoothie into a big bowl, I topped it with a serving or so of Kashi GoLean cereal. The smoothie was just right, with lots of berry flavor and a slight nuttiness from the flax meal.
Last night, my old friend Lauren and I had a nice long chat and I have to say, it really helped to dissipate some of those "weird" feelings. Sometimes all you need is to vent to a friend. She's the best :)
Here's to a good day!
When your sleep schedule gets out of whack, is it easy for you to jump back into your routine or does it take awhile? I'm fine if a change in time difference means I have to wake up earlier than usual, but having to wake up later really messes with me. I just can't sleep in!
