Julia’s 21st :: Une Vie Saine

I think the best thing about being home for a few months this summer has been spending time with my high school friends. Last night, I went to my friend Julia’s house to celebrate her 21st birthday a few days early.

Julia’s house has been the site of many high school reunions. We always sit around her dining room table and eat and talk for hours. It’s the best.

The spread of food was delicious. There was an amazing birthday cake with raspberry mousse filling and buttercream frosting from Clay’s:

As well as cupcakes and a fruit platter with dip:

Plus spiked iced tea and pina coladas:

And Disney Princess plates. Can’t forget those.

I had the frosting off of two slices of cake, then proceeded to eat other people’s frosting that they didn’t want and scrape it off the serving utensils. It’s a good thing I’m shameless around these people.

I ended up staying till past 12, just chatting. Oh, and I downloaded the Harry Potter theme song to be my ringtone. So excited about that.

I love these girls

What are you shameless about? I have learned just not to be embarrassed by my frosting consumption. It’s a part of me.
