To this.
Now, I just have to finish the herculean task of fitting an entire week's worth of clothes into a single carry-on bag. My dad and I decided not to check our suitcases, so I'll need to be a minimalist! Usually I'm a total clothes hoarder, but I'm up for this challenge...

Earlier this afternoon, I gave my new New Balance sneakers a whirl by wearing them for an hour-long elliptical session on our garage machine.
My workout consisted of moderate intervals: a five minute warm-up, followed by 45 minutes at a brisk pace alternating two minutes at level 1 and one minute at level 8, then a ten-minute easy cool-down at level 1. The shoes were comfortable the whole time, so I'm glad I have a pair of cross/strength training shoes to keep at my parents' house! Though they're classified as running shoes, I probably wouldn't run in them since I think it's important to get fitted for those by a professional, but they should work well for other purposes!

I kind of snacked my way through the afternoon, munching on a several handfuls of almond and peanuts, a bowl of cereal with SunWarrior, black grapes and a few spoonfuls of peanut butter, so I wasn't super hungry by the time dinnertime rolled around. I was, however, craving ketchup, so I dug around in the freezer for a ketchup vehicle.
My craving was satisfied in the form of two Boca vegan burgers with a ridiculous amount of the red stuff. I like ketchup but usually only want it with certain foods, so it was definitely a strange craving! I rolled with it anyway, though. The taste reminded me of being a little kid and dousing pretty much every meal in it.
By the way, did you know that they sell two sizes of Boca vegan burgers: regular and "family sized"? We currently have a huge box of the latter from Costco, and as someone who generally finds veggie burgers a bit on the small size, I appreciated the extra-large patty!
I also had a sliced fuji apple with an egg cup full of peanut butter.
And, of course, dark chocolate. Tonight's variety was Lindt Touch of Sea Salt flavor, one of my favorites.
Time to go work on refilling that suitcase. Or watch Harry Potter on ABC Family. Hey, I need to work on perfecting my British accent if I want to fit in with the locals!!
What are the weirdest cravings you get? Though I have more of a sweet tooth, my most intense cravings are usually for salty foods like sauerkraut, pickles and, apparently, ketchup!
