Freaky Friday

I'm not usually one for superstitions, but the blogging gods were definitely frowning on me this Friday the 13th! I apologize for the lack of posting- Blogger was down for nearly 24 hours. Talk about a headache! The problem seems to be almost fixed (it looks like yesterday's posts are still missing), but it makes me glad that I've got a move to Wordpress planned in the near future.

As it turns out, I wouldn't have had much to post about this morning, anyway. I woke up today to realize that my camera battery was dead, so I didn't snap a photo of my classic cookie-dough cereal. Later in the morning, I headed to the gym for a BodyPump class. The instructor mixed up tracks from the different releases to make one of the most intense classes I've taken so far. It was rough!

For lunch when I got home, I made a version of "tuna salad" using hummus, a can of dolphin-safe tuna, chopped baby carrots and a diced tomato.

I mixed a big spoonful of roasted red pepper hummus into the tuna, then topped the mix with another big dollop of the stuff. You can never have too much hummus!

On the side, I had two small whole-wheat tortillas.

As well as a massive pink lady with peanut butter for dipping- this is a recycled photo from yesterday, since I put my battery back on the charger to finish juicing up!

Tonight, my family is going out to a local restaurant to celebrate my graduation. I don't think I've mentioned it before, but I'm actually not going to my graduation ceremony; I've always found them kind of boring, and truth be told I don't think my parents were all that stoked about sitting in Yankee stadium with ten thousand (literally) other parents, too far away to even see me. I'm fine with just a low-key celebration, and I think that's what tonight will be!

Hope you have a wonderful Friday!

Are you superstitious? Did you even realize that it's Friday the 13th? I've never been a superstitious person, but that doesn't stop me from saying "knock on wood" every once in awhile :)
