My go-to order at both One Lucky Duck and Pure has always been the S&M salad, but tonight I decided to step out of the box and try something new! Ada said that the taco salad was good, and after reading the description I was sold.
Romaine lettuce, spicy taco crumble, pico de gallo, guacamole, cashew sour cream and cilantro-lime dressing.
After taking my pretty pictures, I mixed everything up so that each bite was a flavorful combination of guac and "sour cream." Amazing. There are good salads, and then there are good salads by One Lucky Duck.
Ada got the same thing, but made the wise decision to add a few cheezy raw quackers to her plate.
The only negative thing about One Lucky Duck are the prices. The salad was $16, which isn't too outrageous for a rather large heap of quality whole foods in this city, but their packaged macaroons and crackers are daylight robbery. We were both tempted to get a bag of treats, but at $18 I decided I could live without them!

I'm staying in this evening to work on a super fun paper. Strawberry kombucha and frozen green grapes are excellent brain food.
Hope your Saturday night is more fun than mine!
