Growing up, I used to rise with the sun- literally. My big bedroom windows face east, so the brightness of the blinding rays would usually wake me up through my closed eyelids. Probably part of why I'm such a morning person now!

It's weird that TJ's lists whey as an ingredient, but then again, Fiber One includes aspartame. A little of either is fine, but TJ's brand has a crispier consistency that I prefer.
I poured myself a big bowl with a sliced banana and chocolate almond milk.
On a slightly random note, my parents recently found this old issue of Newsweek Magazine dated July 17, 2000, in the midst of the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire release hysteria.
Not only was it really fun to read about the release, considering that the following books only surpassed its success, but I also had a laugh at this gem of an ad:
"Wireless email. No assembly required." WIRELESS?! So futuristic!! Crazy that in just 11 years at least half of all Americans not only have wireless email, they also have phones that will do everything short of eating and sleeping for you. (Though there are apps to soothe you to sleep and tell you which brand is the better buy at the grocery store.)
What was your first cell phone? What kind of phone do you have now? I started off with the Nokia brick (hot pink faceplate, obviously), which I had for years, and currently have a Blackberry (hot pink cover, not much has changed).
