Smile Pretty!

Last night's leftover S&M greens made for a wonderful lunch base today!

The greens were already covered in hemp seeds and pumpkinseed lemon dressing, so I added some sunflower seeds and Two Moms In the Raw tomato-basil sea crackers. There was also about 1/4 of the sliced avocado left- it got buried and forgotten as I was eating last night!

Alongside my salad, I had two slices of lightly toasted Ezekiel bread:

As well as an apple for for some sweetness and crunch.

After eating, I caught a glimpse of my teeth in the mirror. Glamorous. Greens and seeds = good for my body, bad for my smile. Something I should probably be more aware of when eating in public. Fortunately I'm semi-OCD about flossing and dental hygiene in general :D

Random factoid about me: I had the most horrendous teeth ever as a kid. My front two teeth made a sharp V at the front, my incisors jutted out at a right angle, and my adult canines grew in before my babies fell out, so I had two sets for awhile, one on top of the other. Oh, and I had giant fluoride stains on my two front teeth. I so wish I had a picture on my laptop to show you, because it was pretty epic. After three years of a palate expander and two years of braces, however, I'd like to think I've improved...

I look...happy?
Hope you're enjoying your Tuesday!

Have you ever had orthodontia? I feel like it's become standard for middle-schoolers. I know I'm not the only one who color-coordinated the rubber bands to holidays...
