Iceberg, right ahead!
It’s all about the little things J My Titanic obsession might be a tad bit nerdy, but I’ll never deny something that makes me happy.
And yes, I own Titanic-shaped ice cube trays.
Breakfast was a bowl of Shredded Wheat with a banana.
After some apartment cleaning and blog-reading, I headed to the gym for a treadmill speed workout. My plan called for 8x400 at 5K pace, but as soon as I hopped on the treadmill I started to feel something kind of popping in my left butt cheek (poPing, you potty brain). Since it wasn’t painful, I did two miles at an 8:46 pace before calling it quits and consulting Dr. Dad. He says he thinks it’s a loose tendon, and that I should be okay to run as long as I’m careful and it doesn’t hurt. Whew- false alarm.
Lunch was a simple salad beast.
Spinach, carrots, tomato, cucumber, Dr. Praeger’s veggie burger and garlic hummus.
After some shaking, my colorful creation like this…
As the weather cools down, I’m starting to lose interest in my big cold salads. I still love my veg, but I prefer them in roasted form!
I also had an apple + PB&Co. Cinnamon Raisin Swirl for a little something sweet.
On the subject of fall weather, it’s cool enough outside to wear a sweater! I broke one out today for the first time since last winter.

Gotta agree on your summer salad vs fall roasted veg prefs!! I, too, love fall roasted veggeis - espc bnut squashes and pumpkin!!

I am also really craving roasted veggies recently but had a huge salad with a combo of raw and roasted today for lunch. yum.

I'm the same way. I love cold veggies in the summer (like in salads), but come winter time, I am sooo ready for cooked veggies. Mostly roasted, but I'll take steamed too!

i'm allllllllllll about the roasted veg fest now that the weather is turning!
Yum! that apple and peanut butter is like the story of my life... a routine snack, just about everyday for me :) love it!

I love that you are obsessed with the Titanic hahah that's SO cute. I feel the same way about sharks. And I must say i'm extremely jealous of the Peanut Flour trend that I won't be able to try until i'm in AZ at Christmas. Counting down the days..
