Happy Friday night loves!! Any fun things going on? My plans for the evening are still up in the air, so I’m currently writing this in my sweatpants with a Super-Charge Me cookie in hand.
Yes, that’s right, I said cookies.
This afternoon, I baked up a triple batch of these bad boys for the Carrots n Cake bakesale winner. Triple batch means I get to keep a few J
I also whipped up some Puppy Chow for a friend of mine who’s obsessed with the stuff. He’s been asking for it for weeks, and with nothing going on this afternoon, I was happy to oblige.
Care for the recipe?
  • ½ c creamy peanut butter
  • 12 oz package chocolate chips
  • box of plain Chex cereal
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
Heat chocolate chips and peanut butter together on low heat until melted and combined. Stir into cereal, making sure all pieces are coated. Add powdered sugar in ½ cup increments, stirring until completely white. Enjoy!

Of course, I sampled a few handfuls, but managed to stop before making myself sick. Yay J
Dinner was a big plate of roasted veggies.
Sweet potato, chayote, onion and eggplant with two slices of Ezekiel and salsa + mustard for dipping.
My loaf of Ezekiel is getting a bit stale, so I’m trying to finish it as quickly as possible!
For dessert, I had a big bowl of green grapes and a few squares of Endangered Species dark chocolate.
Plus the aforementioned cookie, of course!
Hope you all have a wonderful night!
What are your plans for the weekend?
Any fun uses for almost-stale bread? I’m getting sick of eating it plain/in sandwiches!
